Pierre Guariche (1962-1995) is a key figure of the French reconstruction.

For Pierre Guariche post war furniture had to meet the Reconstruction’s needs : simple, functional, and cheap furniture designed to be adapted to the new living spaces and sometimes confined flats. Design put at the service of the general public.
