Charlotte PERRIAND
It is not the object which matters but the human being.
Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999) broke away from traditional academic architecture, in order to promote the “art of good living” within the home. She put all her energy into the social & political movement of the time, that rapidly affected housing. Functionality, well-being, comfort, durability and respect for the environment are the founding principles that characterize her many creations.
